Our customer requested a material that would be rugged, yet protect sensitive ESD components on a circuit board. IPF offered several ESD materials starting with the most economical, our IPF 2505 ESD Recycled PET Sheet. Although the material performed at 90% they were experiencing cracking issues with the finished tray.
IPF engineered a higher impact PET sheet that now solved the cracking issues and protected the sensitive ESD component on the tray.
